152 players showed up for the Pot Limit Omaha with rebuys event. Like any rebuy tournament, it was pretty hectic during the rebuy period. Tom Dwan managed to rebuy an amazing 19 times and stuck $100k to the slot onlain. Despite possibly breaking the record for most rebuys during this event, he was eliminated during the middle of Day 2 and left empty handed. Daniel Negreanu was estimated to have rebought around 17 times and was stuck at least $80k, but managed to make the money and come out a winner. One of the toughest final tables at a WSOP event went underway. John Juanda, Phil Hellmuth, David Benyamine, Kirill Gerasimov, Phil “OMGClayaiken” Galfond, Daniel Negreanu, Brian “tsarrast” Rast, Adam “the_houdini” Hourani, and Johnny Chan were the last 9 players standing on Day 3.

Brian Rast Eliminated in 9th Place ($84,863)

2 way pot between Johnny Chan and Brian Rast.

Flop came ( J 4 3 ) with two diamonds and both players move all in

Chan: ( A 9 7 7 ) with the Ace high diamond flush draw, and Rast:( J 10 7 6 ) for top pair and Jack high diamond flush draw

Turn and river comes ( J 4 3 ) ( Q A ) non diamonds and Chan rivers top pair to send Rast out in 9th place

Phil Hellmuth Eliminated in 8th Place ($100,292)

Hellmuth, who started the table with a very shortstack, moved all in preflop against David Benyamine.

Hellmuth: ( A K T 4 ) while Benyamine: ( A A K 4 ).

Board came ( 8 6 2 10 2 ) and Hellmuth would end his run for a 12 bracelet.

Daniel Negreanu Eliminated in 7th Place ($123,437)

Negreanu would go all in after Phil Galfond raised it preflop.

Negreanu: ( K K J 5 ) against Galfond: ( A A 2 2 )

The flop came ( 9 7 5 ) all hearts, giving Galfond the nut flush

Turn came ( K ) giving Negreanu more outs, however a river blanked a ( 2 ) and Negreanu was out in 7th place, picking up a bit of profit over all the rebuys he put into the prizepool

John Juanda Eliminated in 6th Place ($154,296)

Johnny Chan limped in the small blind and Juanda checked.

Flop came ( 9 8 2 ) with two spades

Both players reraised each other all in

Juanda : ( K T 9 7 ) for the open end straight flush draw, Chan: ( 10 9 8 2 ) for Top two pair

Turn and river came ( 7 2 ) non spades and Juanda would miss his outs, sending him out in 6th place

Kirill Gerasimov Eliminated in 5th Place ($192,870)

Gerasimov moved all in from the small blind and was called by Phil Galfond.

Gerasimov: ( A 10 8 7 ) and Galfond: ( A J 8 5 )

Board comes ( J 9 6 6 6 ) and Galfond picks it up with trip sixes, Jack kicker, sending Gerasimov home in 5th place

Johnny Chan Eliminated in 4th Place ($246,874)

han raises it up preflop and is called by Benyamine and Galfond.

Flop ( J 10 3 ) with diamond flush draw, Benyamine bets out, Galfond calls, and Chan calls all in

Turn comes ( 8 ) and river comes ( A ) non diamonds

Benyamine had ( A K 9 8 ) for two pair, Chan had ( 10 9 9 8 ) for a smaller two pair and ends his run for an 11th bracelet, while Galfond mucked

David Benyamine Eliminated in 3rd Place ($316,307)

Benyamine raised from the button and Adam Hourani calls.

Flop is ( Q J 9 ) no flush draw, Benyamine moves all in and is called by Hourani

Benyamine: ( A A 10 4 ) for pair of Aces and gutshot draw, Hourani: ( A Q Q 10 ) for top set

Turn and river comes ( 3 8 ) and Benyamine exits in 3rd place

Adam Hourani Eliminated in 2nd Place ($493,748)

Galfond managed to start the heads up portion with a chip lead. After 3 and a half hours, Hourani chipped away until he finally went all in preflop.

Board came ( A Q 8 6 2 ) and Galfond managed to hit two pair, eliminating Hourani in 2nd place
